Getting started

Set up your account and Organization

On this page

Sign up#

  1. Open https://app.structly.io and select 회원가입 (Sign up) on the login screen.
  2. Enter your 이메일 (email), 표시 이름 (display name, 1–100 characters), and 비밀번호 (password, 8–128 characters), then select 회원가입.

Email addresses are not case-sensitive. Structly does not send an email to confirm ownership of the address.

Log in#

Enter your email and password on the login screen and select 로그인 (Log in). 로그인 상태 유지 (Keep me signed in) is selected by default.

  • When 로그인 상태 유지 is selected, user activity renews the login and it expires 30 days after your last activity.
  • Clear this option on a shared device. The login then ends when you close the browser and expires on the server 24 hours after your last activity. Your browser's session restore setting may restore it after the browser was closed.
  • To change your password while logged in, open the user menu at the top and select 비밀번호 변경 (Change password).
  • Password reset is not available, so keep your password safe.

Create an Organization#

You record the Catalog per Organization. When you log in for the first time, the Organization 선택 (Select Organization) screen opens.

  1. Enter a 새 Organization 이름 (new Organization name, 1–100 characters). The name may match another Organization's name.
  2. Select Organization 만들기 (Create Organization). The User who creates it becomes a member.

Waiting for verification#

A new Organization is created in the Structly 관리자 인증 대기 (waiting for Structly administrator verification) state.

  • While it is waiting, you cannot select the Organization or record or look up its Catalog.
  • You can use it after a Structly administrator verifies it. Select 인증 상태 새로고침 (Refresh verification status) to check the result.
  • After verification, the list shows 관리자 인증 완료 (verified by administrator) and you can select the Organization.

If you have only one verified Organization, it is selected automatically when you log in. If you have several, select one yourself. For selecting and switching, see Organization.

Set up with stly#

You can follow the same steps in the terminal. For installation, see Install stly.

stly auth signup --input signup.json
stly org create --input org.json
stly org list

signup.json and org.json use the following formats. stly does not accept passwords as command-line options, so pass them through a file or stdin (--input -) and delete the file afterward.

{"email": "you@example.com", "password": "a password of 8+ characters", "display_name": "Jane Doe"}
{"name": "Acme", "handle": "acme"}

In stly org list, a verification_status of pending means the Organization is waiting for verification, and verified means it is ready to use.

Next steps#

After your Organization is verified, go to Record your first Catalog entry.
