Create an Organization#
On the Organization 선택 (Select Organization) or Organization 관리 (Manage Organizations) screen in the Web UI, enter a 새 Organization 이름 (new Organization name) and an Organization handle, then select Organization 만들기 (Create Organization).
stly org create --input org.jsonorg.json uses the format {"name": "Acme", "handle": "acme"}. A new Organization cannot be used until a Structly administrator verifies it.
For the waiting period, see Set up your account and Organization.
Creating an Organization does not change the Organization you currently have selected.
Select the current Organization#
The Catalog covers only the records of the current Organization. You can select only verified Organizations.
Web UI#
- Change it in the ORGANIZATION dropdown in the sidebar. The Catalog on screen is reloaded.
- Select Organization 관리 to check your Organizations and their verification status and to select one.
- If you have unsaved input, a confirmation dialog opens before switching.
stly#
stly org list
stly org select 7f9X9MPpr5Horg list returns your Organizations and their verification_status. Pass an id from the list to org select.
The Web UI and stly each remember their own current Organization, so changing it in one does not affect the other.
Check your memberships#
Check the Organizations you belong to on the Organization 관리 screen in the Web UI or with stly org list.
stly user get --fields user,current_organization_idOrganization names can be the same, so tell them apart by ID. Administrators can use the invitation and membership controls below.
Invite and manage Users#
For a verified Organization, an administrator opens Organization 관리 → User·초대 관리, enters an email, optionally selects 관리자로 초대 (invite as an administrator), and sends the invitation. The creator is the initial administrator. For an existing Organization without an administrator, ask a Structly administrator to assign one in Back Office.
Recipients open the email link, sign up or sign in with the invited email, review the invitation, and select 초대 수락 (accept). An invitation can be used once within seven days. If refreshing the screen loses the token, open the email link again.
- Change an active member's role directly instead of sending another invitation.
- Resend or cancel an existing valid invitation. Resending invalidates its previous link.
- If delivery is unknown, check the invitation list and explicitly resend it.
- Restoring an ended membership always gives ordinary member permissions. Grant administrator permissions separately.
- The last active administrator cannot be removed or demoted.
- Invitations and User management are unavailable while an Organization is pending verification.
Use the same controls in stly with User authentication:
stly members list --organization <Organization ID> --auth-mode user
stly invitations create --organization <Organization ID> --input invitation.json --auth-mode userinvitation.json contains {"email":"member@example.com","role":"member"}; role is member or admin.
Use the ETag from a detail request for changes. Check stly schema members update and
stly schema invitations resend for input and options. If SMTP is unconfigured, ask a Structly
administrator to configure invitation delivery.
Agent tokens#
An Agent token is an authentication token for stly that belongs to one Organization. If you have received a token, set it in the STRUCTLY_AGENT_TOKEN environment variable and stly uses it before your User login.
Store tokens somewhere that is never committed. For the full authentication order, see stly login and authentication.
Change the Organization address#
A handle is globally unique and separate from the display name. It contains 3–39 lowercase ASCII letters, digits, or hyphens, starts with a letter, and cannot end with a hyphen or contain consecutive hyphens. Reserved names are unavailable.
Web addresses identify screens under the handle, such as /o/acme/apis.
An administrator of a verified Organization can change its handle from Organization management.
The previous handle becomes immediately available to other Organizations. Old links do not redirect and may point to a different Organization after reuse.
Use org check-handle acme to check availability and org handle <id> to read the current handle and ETag.
Change it with org update-handle <id> --input handle.json --if-match '<etag>'; the input is {"handle":"acme-team"}.
