What is stly#

stly is a CLI for looking up and recording the same Catalog as the Web UI from the terminal. It prints every result as a single JSON value, so AI Coding Agents and scripts can read the result directly.

  • Find the command to run with stly cli search, and check its input format with stly schema.
  • Check a request with --dry-run before sending it to the server.
  • The default server is https://api.structly.io.

Steps#

  1. Install: Install stly on macOS.
  2. Login and authentication: Log in with browser approval and select an Organization.
  3. Find and run commands: Learn about command search, input schemas, dry-run, and the output format.
  4. Common workflows: Follow examples for lookup, create, edit, delete, and direct API calls.
